The Department of Electrical Automation Technology is dedicated to cultivate high caliber and application-oriented talented personnel to work for the general electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industries as electrical technicians and engineers, automatic control engineers and technical personnel ,and other occupational groups, who are competent to be engaged in the installation and debugging of various electrical control equipment, operation and maintenance, production supervision and management, product transformation and development, automatic product marketing and technical services, and, at the same time, have certain level of innovative spirit and competence.

 

The professional core courses in this field of study include Principle and Application of Single Chip Microcomputer, Electrical Control and PLC Application, Automatic Control Technology, Automatic Simulation Technology and Application, Inverter Technology, Power Station and Power Supply and Distribution Technology, Field Bus and Industrial Ethernet Technology, Sensor and Detection Technology.

 

Main Practical Training Sessions include Professional Cognition Practice, Metalworking Practice, Electrical Basic Training, Intermediate/senior Maintenance Electrician Skill Training, Graduation Practice (i.e. enterprise post training), and etc.

 

Certificates Possible to be Granted

Through practical training teaching, students can obtain Intermediate Skill Certificate of Electrician and Advanced Skill Certificate of Electrician on the basis of participating in professional skill appraisal.
