Sanda Student Works Won Gold Award in the Environmental Design Group of the Oriental Creative Star Design Competition

Recently, the first Oriental Creative Star Design Competition sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has come to an end. Sanda has the greatest number of prize-winning works by students from the School of Art Design and Media. The work of two environmental design majors, Xia Hongjing and Shen Ziyi, has won the gold award under the guidance of their teacher Wang Ye.


Wang introduced that the work focused on the study of the children- friendly community park, and employed modern landscape design with a thorough analysis of environment characteristic and children’s behavior. She said that the design method of the work was flexible with details fully reflecting the characteristics of children-friendly green landscape.

It is said that the Oriental Creative Star Design Competition is a professional event held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for both international and national contestants. It aims to explore remarkable design works from students from domestic and foreign universities, and is committed to building a professional platform for integrating production and teaching, and fostering innovative works.
