Sponsored by Citibank financial information services (China) co., ltd. and co-organized by Sanda, the 15th “Citi Cup” financial innovation and application competition was held from November 29 to 30. Vice President Lou Binchao, Dean of the school of information science and technology Chen Ying and vice President Wang Cheng attended the ceremony. The student team of Sanda stood out among more than 90 teams in China and won the award of the final competition.
More than 90 teams from Nanjing University, Wuhan University, Dalian University of Technology, Peking University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of Science and Technology and our university participated in the “citi cup”, which was officially launched on May 24.
“Citi Cup” financial innovation application competition, as an important part of the project, aims to guide students to start to attach importance to the combination of knowledge learned with the development of the financial industry and social progress on the campus stage. It expects to stimulate students’ love for science, technology and financial industry, encourage them to make full use of the knowledge they have learned through teamwork, develop innovative financial ideas and propose solutions with commercial prospects. Since its establishment in 2005, the competition has developed into a benchmark competition in China’s financial informatization field.
