On May 26, the fourth “Kede Cup”, National UAV Aerial Photography Competition for College Students was held in Beijing Capital Normal University. Students from the School of Media, Chen Haotian, Wu Xiaofei, Wu Qiangqiang, Yang Hanzhang, Li Yiming and Wang Haoning, went to Beijing to participate in the competition. Six students won an outstanding award for their aerial shot work “Huan” at the award ceremony held on May 30.
The competition required teams to collect materials at five shooting sites in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei by “aerial photography” for two and a half days, and finish editing the materials within one day, submitting one short film, one single shot, one group picture and one single picture. Our school of communication attached great importance to this competition and encouraged students to participate actively. Under the guidance of Wang Fei, a teacher of the college, the contestants applied their professional knowledge and relevant skills to complete the aerial shooting picture “Huan”, which stood out among more than 1,000 works and won the excellent award of the competition.
It is reported that more than 1,100 teachers and students from 216 universities took part in the competition with nearly 400 drones. More than 1,000 pieces of works participated in the competition, and a total of 43 pieces won final prizes.
