From May 30 to June 3, 2019, the China Business Elite Challenge “Zhixin Joint Innovation Cup”, an international trade competition, was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. The department of international economics and trade organized three student teams to participate in the competition. After the competition, three teams won the first prize, second prize and third prize respectively, and our school won the “best school organization award”.
During the competition, the international economic and trade department students cooperated with the small and medium-sized enterprises, and provided enterprises with brand marketing planning and overseas promotion plan, according to the actual working process of small and medium-sized enterprises. Students had to participate in processes including the economic and trade exhibition, the exhibition plan, booth poster design and merchandising, new product launches, trade matching and trade negotiation, and exhibition summary report. Under the guidance of Sanda teachers, the students prepared for the competition for months, developed the spirit of teamwork, flexibly applied professional knowledge to fight calmly, and finally achieved excellent results. The team of Shanghai Huaxingge Modern Clothing co., LTD., led by 2016 student Zhang Ziyi, won the first prize.
The instructor said that through this competition, students used the knowledge they learned to participate in the simulation practice, mastered the whole process of the enterprise exhibition in advance, cultivated the business logic thinking, improved the ability of communication and cooperation, and solved the practical problems of the enterprise, thus promoting learning through competition. It is understood that the China University Business Elite Challenge is currently the largest live event in the field of international trade and economic cooperation in China. As one of the core parts of this activity week, two professional events, “Zhixin Joint Innovation Cup” international trade competition and “Business Trade Promotion Cup” economic and trade exhibition competition, are set up. Through the internal selection and recommendation of the participating colleges and universities, 210 teams from 140 universities and colleges in 22 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities such as Beijing and Shanghai, were selected for the national finals.
