Dr. Qiaoping Jia, Vice President of Sanda University, received Professor Virpi Laukkanen from Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Finland, at the Faculty Activity Center on April 2nd, 2018.Ms. Li Li, Deputy Director of Presiding and Ms. Miao Yi, Assistant to the Director of International Exchange & Cooperation Office attended the meeting. The two sides briefed each other on the situation of their respective institutions and conducted a preliminary discussion on possible future cooperation in dual degree program, student exchange, IT certification and upgrading of Bachelor degree to Master degree program. The both sides, through further mutual contact and understanding, achieved the intention of cooperation in concrete academic programs. Professor Virpi Laukkanen, with a professional background of innovation and entrepreneurship, is now engaged in short-term teaching at other institutions of higher learning in Shanghai. Vice President Qiaoping Jia warmly invited her to come to our Jiashan Campus to give a lecture for the students of International Economy and Trade in all English instruction classes on Finnish trends of employment, innovation and others.
