Dr. Megan Knight, Deputy Dean of College of Arts and Design, University of Hertfordshire in The United Kingdom, and Mr. Yvonne Yan, Director of China Partner, came to visit the School of Fashion of Sanda University on April 3, 2018 to explore the opportunities for academic exchanges. Both institutions conducted a friendly discussion on international cooperation in the conference room on the second floor of B Building at Shanghai International Fashion Education Center. Dr. Qiaoping Jia, Vice President, Ms. Li Li, Deputy Director of Presiding of Office of International Exchange&Cooperation, Mr. Xudong Zhou, Dean of School of Fashion, Mr. Hong Cheng and Mr. Xuejun Zhou, Deputy Deans of School of Fashion, and senior faculty members including Ms. Wenli Fei, Mr. Yiyan You and Ms. Yutan Zhang attended the discussion which was presided over by Mr. Xudong Zhou, Dean of School of Fashion, Sanda University.
The two parties discussed how to jointly build courses in the development of professional fields of studies during the discussion. Dr. Xudong Zhou, Dean of School of Fashion expressed, on behalf of the college, the view of promoting further studies of the students. He expressed his hope that the School of Fashion could work with the College of Arts and Design of University of Hertfordshire on active exchange in curriculum information to achieve successful cooperation in a series of course and professional development activities and a student exchange program of overseas studies that the students of School of Fashion very much desire for. Dr. Megan Knight, Deputy Dean of College of Arts and Design of University of Hertfordshire, also in turn, expressed her sincere welcome for Sanda students from School of Fashion to come to her institution for exchange visits and affirmed the efforts made by the School of Fashion in the exchange and cooperation between the two institutions. She assured that University of Hertfordshire will promote the further development in the bilateral cooperation.
