On October 21st, President Li Jin, Vice President Jia Qiaoping, Director Hua Hua, of International Exchange and Cooperation, Prof. Chen Yin, Dean of Information Technology School received President Sam Alavi of Otago Polytechnic Auckland International Campus, Vice President Nick van der Walt, Otago Polytechnic Auckland International Campus and Mr Dingyi Xu, Senior Advisor of Otago Polytechnic Auckland International Campus. During the meeting,Vice President. Jia Qiaoping and Vice President. Nick van der Walt introduced both Universities. President Li Jinsigned an agreement with President Sam Alavi.
The depth and breadth of our discussions and participation included the exchange between students and faculty, “2+2” double degree bachelor program and Joint Master program. Both parties agreed that the cooperation will start from Information Technology School and will be promoted in other Schools later.
Otago Polytechnic is a public New Zealand tertiary education institute, centered in Dunedin with additional campuses in Cromwell and Auckland. The Auckland International Campus caters to international students and offers professional qualifications in Business and Management as well as National Diplomas in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying.
